My sis got scabies?!
Question: My sis got scabies!?
i found out my sis got scabies!i whent up there to colour her hair ,and she didnt tell me till i asked what was a matter with her skin,anyways it was too late and id already touched her so i stayed and finished her hair!
i was wondering should i go chemist on monday and get stuff for it just it just in case i have it cos i heard the signs wont show for ages!The thing is i live with my boyfriend so should i get lotion for him and wash my house an everything in it or am i over reacting!
i dont want to weight till i have the symtoms cos im going on my holadays soon and i dont wanna be infected!

Wash everything!. ALL your clothes, bedding, towels and anything else that can go in the washing machine, clean or not on as high as temperature as possible!.

Scabies is highly infectious!. I would talk to your pharmasist and ask for advice!. You probably will need medication/lotion just to make sure!. Some people seem to have a natural immunity to scabies but wouldn't risk it!. Think its mean that your sister didn't tell you straight away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
All of you need to go to the Doctor & get medication (Special cream) & follow the instrustions the Dr!. gives you & wash all your bedding & clothing in HOT water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nonprescription medication for scabies mites
There is no nonprescription medication that can cure a scabies infestation!. Nonprescription lice medications are not strong enough to kill scabies mites!. If you think you have scabies, do not use nonprescription products before seeing your doctor because doing so could make it difficult to diagnose your condition!.
Nonprescription medication for itching
You can use one of the following nonprescription medications to help relieve itching from scabies:
Oral antihistamines (such as Benadryl)!. These medications will not interfere with the diagnosis or treatment of scabies!.
