Answers:
I am not a medical doctor, but I would like to refer you to http://www!.medhelp!.org/forums/STD/wwwboa!.!.!. Look up HIV transmission to back up what am about to say!.

Oral sex is extremely low low low risk for HIV transmission!. The person who said you were at a high risk is dead wrong!.

Basically, you can give/receive oral sex for 50 years every day and will probably not get HIV from a partner!.

Additionally, a Spanish study was conducted whereby HIV seropostive partners gave/relieved oral sex from seronegative partners!. Out of the 19000 acts of oral sex performed guess how many got HIV!?!.!.!.!.!.!.!. The answer is 0!.

Bottom line, unless your partner has gum bleeding, and you have cuts on your vagina, or you have cuts in your mouth (deep bleeding ones) and he ejaculates into your mouth!.!.!. there is still about a 1 in 10,000 chance of getting it!. Saliva has great enzymes for killing the HIV virus!.

Oral sex just doesn't appear to be an effective mode of HIV transmission!. It is theoretically possible that HIV could be transmitted, but there are no known cases where clean oral sex did the trick!.

You should be worried about herpes, syphilis, HPV etc, but not HIV!. Next time use dental dams or condoms!. Save yourself the worry! Good luck!.

Shame on whoever posted that response about you having a high risk, get a clue before you post on the Web!.

BECAUSE I COULDN'T DO ANOTHER RESPONSE, I AM GOING TO WRITE IN CAPS!.

EVEN IF YOUR PARTNER HAS/HAD HIV IT IS STILL, STILL, STILL A REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY LOW LOW LOW LOW RISK!. ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE IS WRONG!. ASK THEM TO SUPPORT THEIR ANSWER WITH FACTS!. THEY CANNOT!. THEY WILL ONLY TELL YOU THAT "IT IS POSSIBLE" !.!.!. OF COURSE IT IS!. YOU HAVE A HIGHER CHANCE OF GETTING KILLED ON YOUR WAY TO WORK THANK GETTING HIV FROM A ORAL SEX WITH SOMEONE WHO IS HIV POSITIVE!.!. LET ALONE WITH SOMEONE WHO SEROPOSITIVITY IS UNKOWN!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

HIV can only be passed from person to person through body fluids, like blood, semen and vaginal fluid!. The most common ways HIV is passed are:
By having unprotected anal, vaginal or oral sex with an infected person!.
By sharing needles and syringes for injecting drugs with an infected person!.
You may be at risk of getting HIV if you have any of the risk factors listed in the box below!. Children born to infected mothers can also become infected during pregnancy!.

HIV can't live very long outside the body, so you can't get it through casual contact!. You can't get the virus by touching, shaking hands, hugging, swimming in a public pool, giving blood, or using hot tubs, public toilets, telephones, doorknobs or water fountains!. You also can't get it from food, mosquitoes or other insects!.

The best ways to protect yourself from getting infected with HIV are to:
Not have sex with a person who is infected or is having sex with others!.
Practice "safer" sex if you do have sex!.
Not share needles and syringes!.
You can't tell who's infected with HIV by how they look!. It takes an average of 8 years for symptoms of AIDS to develop after a person is infected with HIV!. So even people who don't look or feel sick can give you AIDSWww@Answer-Health@Com

You may be at low risk for HIV but new studies show you are at risk of getting mouth, throat, and esophageal cancer!.!.!.so you may want to do some research on that!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exceptionally high!. You're exchanging bodily fluids, guess what that's how it's spread!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

very very low risk
you can reduce risk to zero with using a condom
good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

It depends!. If that other person has HIV, then your chances are high!. Unprotected oral sex is risky!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
