Question: I have type 1 diabetes and I will be in a cadaver lab soon!?
Will being in the Cadaver lab from 9-2 im not sure if I will have breaks, affect my diabetes as I do have to test and eat within the 5 hours and touch my insulin pump!. Anybody have any experience with this!? and do we start dissection during the first week!? this is all in the summer I also have a bad dry cough, Am i okay!? serious replies only pleaseWww@Answer-Health@Com

i am also a type one diabetic for a long tiem i wuz on the insulin pump and i jus wanted to get off its not lie i wuznt takin care of myself er n/e thing!.!.!.but you need to tlk to the head of the class about needing to take these breaks and he will work something out with you!.!.!.maybe give the whole class breaks and the main time this takes place is during lunch and if your sugar drops so during lunch theres ur break to do everything and if it drops thats a medical problem that needs to b taken care of and he has to understand ccuz he doesnt have a choice i kno it feels like it gets in the way of everything i feel that way too but its wut youve got and have to work with so jus look for the brighter times and happier outlooks of everything!.!.!.ilyWww@Answer-Health@Com
Just tell your instructor that you are diabetic and tell him/her what you need to do to maintain your health!. They will allow a break for you if you are going to need one!. They will not deny you your right to medical health!Www@Answer-Health@Com
