Question: If a child had blood and protein in their urine, what would it be an indication of!?
Answers:
Personally I would push for tests and a definite diagnosis!. The Consultant can organise an ultrasound, x-rays, blood or urine tests, as it appears your daughter is prone to urine infections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The tubules in the glomerulus of the kidneys are not supposed to let protein get through!. The blood is from some sort of irritation up the urinary tract up to kidneys somewhere in there!. These things should not normally be in the urine!. I don't know what other symptoms the child has!.!.!.fever!? low urine output!? retaining water and looking puffy!? Was the child recently on any antibiotics ending in "MYCIN"!? (Gentamycin, Streptomycin etc!. ) Did the child ingest any toxic substances recently!? Does the child have any pain or burning when peeing!? Is there lower back pain!? I would need more info to help you out with this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

At the very least, a very bad urinary track infection and at the worst a kidney infection, either way it is good indication that a doctor should be consulted!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like she has some kind of problem with her kidneys, its may be she has infection of somekind !. She should go back to the doctor !.!.!. there are more symptoms than just protein and blood in urine for it to be diabetes relatedWww@Answer-Health@Com
