Answers:
This can often come from laxative abuse and once you start this process, it is very difficult to reverse!. A fiber bulking agent (metamucil, citrucel, miralax) is sometimes needed twice a day until the bowel movements become regular!. Increasing the water intake daily will also help!. His bowels have learned to rely on the chemicals and no longer want to do their job and this can become a lifetime problem, often leading to bowel obstructions, chronic constipation and other problems!. He needs to stop using these products and use bulking agents or stool softeners on a daily basis rather than laxatives or it is just going to get worse and worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
