Sustained high blood pressure can cause serious damage to the vital organs like the Heart, Brain, kidneys etc!., leading to irreversible damage or death!.
The most unfortunate thing is that many a time it is asymptomatic unless and until the damage starts / occurs!.
Hence the importance of frequent checking of the BP, and almost an invariable checking after 40 years of age!.
And when once diagnosed it should be treated with all its seriousness and brought down under control by all means and monitored constantly to save life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
