Herceptin is used depending on the grade of the tumour it's aggresiveness etc!. If you want alot more info on it and how to get it go to breastcancer!.org there are alot of women on that site that take it and know the in's and out's of how to get it if your onc says no, or you don't like the opinion you got!. They will explain your pathology report!. I saved my sanity and still does so give it a shot!. Please check the site it really is a God send!. And the women are not moaners and groaners they are a great but that offers support, knowledge, humour, the whole shebang!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i know lots of women who have been prescribed herceptin who are not in advanced stages of breast cancer but who are hert!.2positive,i think its postcode lottory!.i live in greater manchester and my surgeon said i could have anything i needed but i wasnt receptive to herceptin!.its a bad do if you cant get it when you need it just because of where you live!.!Www@Answer-Health@Com
