I'm not someone who's personally been diagnosed with terminal cancer, but I have met quite a number of people who have over the years!.
People deal with the news in all sorts of different ways - and most go through different stages of acceptance!. Initial reactions include shock, denial, anger, guilt, sadness, relief, or even a combination of these!.
Every individual responds differently, and it's impossible to know how you will respond until you are in that situation - often people find their response is utterly out of their normal character!.

i havent but my dad did 4 years ago he had cancer in his voice box it was the hardest thing ever to no that your dad dying but we had a whole year with him till he died we made every day a special day but i dont think he ever come to terms with it i think he just got on with it for our sake at the end he didnt really no much as he was sedated but i have the comfort of him dying in my armsWww@Answer-Health@Com
My dad has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, he went through a denial phase, then an angry at himself phase and now he says that he is happy as my mum died in June last year and he is so lonely without her - I think he is apprehensive though, obviously!Www@Answer-Health@Com
My best friend died from Stomach Cancer , He was a Karate Instructor & one day he failed to block a kick to his stomach from a student ,
That kick started a Cancer & he was dead three months later !.
