Question: My liver function test was abnormal my ggt was 80 normal is between 10 & 42!?
this is to to much alcohol!. i was told it is a mild elvation!. i was woundering if i i drank 2 real beers 2 days a week & non alcoholic beers in between would this be ok!. i really don't wanna stop drinking but do have some concerns!. please if there is a doctor or nurse or someone that knows about ggt & liver please help!. thanks erikWww@Answer-Health@Com

ahhhhh e!.cutz!.!.!. wasn't i clear enough with you !? Two beers or even 3 are allowed for a man ( by the way what's the content in the states of a can or bottle ) because I am referring to bottles!.!.!. you can drink this qty always when your ggt returns to normal ( this can be in a couple of months ) and don't go binge drinking during weeks ends!.!.!. 7 or 8 beers a day at week ends can jeopardize your liver more that 2 beers a day simply because your liver can not detox such a huge amount of beers!.!.!. you should also show me ( maybe thru my email ) how your other liver functions are GGT is not the only one that shows how yr liver is!.!.!. the other two are AST and ALT !.!. do you have results for those !? !.!.!.
