Yes, people with down syndrome can also have autistic spectrum disorder!. It can be quite hard to diagnose though because there are some similarities in the 2 anyway, and so many varying degrees of both!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's true sadly!. One of my son's friends at his autism therapy center has autism and down's!. He is the nicest little boy you'll ever meet!. It just all comes down to genetics for the down syndrome, unfortunately!. It's hard to understand where he is at on the spectrum, (for me, anyway) since he also has down syndrome!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
