Question: Is pill addiction as dangerous!?
I have been battling prescription pill addiction for two years now!. I am in treatment currently!.
In treatment I had this argument with this coke addict about how pills aren't as dangerous as coke or meth!. She got pretty mad, because she didn't agree!.!.!. she says it is worse!.
What do you all think!?

It depends on what pills you take and how severe your addictive behaviour is vs!. that of the coke/meth user!. While all pill addictions are dangerous, some can ravage your body just like street drugs!. Talk to your doctor or rehab counsellor about it!.

It's a pretty dumb argument to make on either side but probably worse for the coke addict since god knows what's in that stuff when it's made (either strong or cut with some unknown substance)!.
the pills are regulated so you know what you're getting!. But addicts are addicts and don't necessarily follow the directions!. So you can easily OD on the pills and it happens everyday!. Focus more on your recovery than who's-the-bigger-addict!Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't let anyone kid you
but you can WIN
i am one of the worst people to
be a smart *** on answers
but all bullshit aside
stick to your guns and you can stop
i have been clean now for 14 years
i know its hard
nothing worth having is easy
but you can do it
find a friend a clean friend
if not a friend
a parent
find someone

Let me get this right, you are in treatment and you are arguing with another addict about whose drug is worse!?
You could argue that one is more addicted to thier drug of choice than another but addiction is a disease whether to pills or cocaine or whatever!. Best of luck with your treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pills are very dangerous!. I know this because my son was addicted to hydrpcoden and he died of a heart attack at the age of 21!. His huge doses of pills destroyed his heart and his kidneys!.

I think they can be equally addictive!. Addiction is an inner state and the object isn't really relevant!. Don't get yourself drained with arguments with people!. Just work on your own journey!.

pills can kill you just as easily as coke or meth!. read a medical journal once in a while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
