TB test question !!! please help ..?!


Question: TB test question !!! please help !.!.!?
is it possible 2 get TB from a TB test of the test is done incorrectly!? i had one done about a week ago and everyone elses didnt hurt!.!.!. well mine did i felt the needle go in and i felt when she injected it, it burned and stung more then it should in my opinion,, and for about 2 hrs after my arm was thumping and stinging!.!.!. well it went away and all i could see was the smalles little dot on my arm from the needle!.!.!. well about 2 days ago ( so 4 since the shot) it started 2 look pink!.!. well now its a deep pink and is raised up but its small, like 1/4 in wide and a little over a 1/4 in length!.!.!. but above it its a little bruised, and its a bit tender!.!.!. about 3 days ago my supervisor read it, but she just glanced at them and says " ok ur good" ( shes an LPN and i work at a nursing home so we had 2 b tested)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The test uses dead TB, so no, you can't get it from the test!. Basically you just got an injury from the test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My brother-n-law always gets a postive TB test!. They told him that he's been exposed at sometime without having the symptoms!. He has a waiver that clears him!. It could depend on the person who reads them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What does the test result mean!?
A healthcare worker will interpret your test results by looking at the injection site on your forearm at 48 or 72 hours (in most cases)!. A positive result will form a red and swollen circle at the site of the injection!. The size (diameter) of the swollen raised circle determines whether exposure to TB has occurred!. The size that is considered positive varies with the health status and age of the individual!. Even when infected, children, the elderly, and patients who are severely immune compromised (such as those with AIDS) may have smaller, delayed, or even negative reactions to the TB skin test!.
Negative results may mean that you have not been exposed to TB, that your immune system has not responded to the test, or that it is too early to detect exposure!. It takes about 6 weeks after infection before a person demonstrates a positive reaction to the PPD!. If your doctor wants to confirm a negative result, he may repeat the TB skin test, or in some cases, perform another type of test called QuantiFERON? - TB Gold test (QFT-G)!.

Positive results may be due to a latent or active TB infection, or occasionally due to a false positive!. Positive results may also be seen in those who have received a BCG (Bacille Calmette-Gu
