Question: Can I mix clarinex, with benadryl, or claritin !?
I was just prescribed clarinex by my doctor!. I think it's one of those medicines, that take time to build up, before working!.
I take 1 pill every 24 hour!. 6pm is when I last took 1 tablet of clarinex!.
In the day time, can I take claritin, or benadryl !.!.!. 1 time, so that it can hold me off until 6pm !?
I've never had allergies this bad before, benadryl really sucks!.
I had that drowsy feeling, but my mom bought it so I had to show my appreciation!. It was my first time trying it!. It helped a little, I guess !
Clarinex didn't have any sleep affects, last summer claritin didnt make me tired either!. So is it ok to take clarinex at night 6pm, and claritin in the morning, around 9am !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Claritin and Benadryl are both antihistamines!. The reason Claritin doesn't cause drowsiness is because it is about half the strength of Benadryl!. I take a Claritin 1x a day like the bottle says, but when things get bad I take another one at about the 12 hour mark!. I do not do this every day though only when things get bad!. I have also taken a Benadryl on a bad day instead of taking a 2nd Claritin!. The bottle says take 2, but I only take 1!.
Clarinex is just a more expensive version of Claritin!. Schering was trying to take just a pure version of the working chemical and make a "new" drug!. The effectiveness was not much better than Claritin (I don't think it was statistically significant)!. Basically it would be like taking a recipe that had 10 ingredients and stripping it down to 9 or so and saying it is a new recipe!.
Sometimes your body can get used to the same antihistamine so try some other products every now and then!.
I have tried local honey and bee pollen, but it just doesn't work!. I wish it did because antihistimines can dry you out!. The only thing you can do to try to get rid of allergies is get allergy shots!. They DO work!. When I was younger I got sick all the time!. I got shots and now I almost never get sick, BUT I still have allergies, just not as bad as before the shots!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you take a teaspoon of LOCAL honey each day, you won't need any of that poison prescribed by a doctor!.
