Anyone else react like this to stings?!

Question: Anyone else react like this to stings!?
Hi there,
I was at a BBQ at the weekend and it appears that I was bitten by something! My foot swelled up, blisters and very uncomfortable!. Saw the doc who said I got cellulitis from this bite!.

Have any of you lot experienced this!?!?

It's damn uncomfortable not to mention unsightly!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had cellulitis but not from a bug bite!. My doctors actually couldn't figure out HOW I got it because I had no evidence of wounds or anything!.

I can sympathize with ya hun!. I know all too well of the discomforts of cellulitis when it affects your foot!. Keep it elevated as much as possible!. Oh and be prepared that as it heals and dries up it just might itch like nothing you have ever felt before!. When it did it to me, I went through a whole bottle of Caladryl lotion one night (8 hours) because it itched so bad!. I got ZERO sleep that night! And then it peeled, including the bottom of my foot!.

I could go on and on LOL Just take care of yourself and make sure you get rest and drink your fluids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have had similar from a wasp sting!. I now have a serious allergy to these (life threatening) so maybe you are more allergic to whatever bit you than most people!. It took about 2 weeks to go completely!. I was told to rest with the leg up as much as possible!. My Mum also used a very old fasioned remedy, a kaolin poultice which whilst it didnt cure it, di help with the discomfort!. Im not sure if you can still get the stuff to make it now tho as this was a while ago!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
