My coach thinks i have an eating disorder!?!


Question: My coach thinks i have an eating disorder!!?
My boxing coach thinks i have an eating disorder!. i have always been underweight thats not really been a problem until now!. my coach has found out i've been skipping meals and snacks and because my weight has drop quiet a bit he thinks i've got an eating disorder again!. he took me into the office this morning and told me if i don't eat, i don't train and give me the whole "atlethes don't work without food" lecture!. i used to have a problem with food when i was 10-12 and im now 16 and have got over it!. my coach helpped me get through it last time but he thinks it's happening again and it isn't!. i know he means well but he has it so wrong this time!. last time it was because i was suffering from post-traumatic stress and i developed really what can only be described as a fear of food!. what can i do to convince him because he tried to get me to eat breakfast but i can't eat in a morning (never have been able to) without throwing up!. what can i do to prove him wrong!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The easiest thing to do will be to try not skip meals and to ease yourself into breakfast!. I know that people can't eat a lot, but if you start with somethin as small as a cracker and slowly work it up to a piece of toast or fruit, it would make your coach less worried!.

Skipping meals worries anyone especially when weight loss is included!. If you are doing it cause you aren't hungry, than maybe you need to force yourself to eat something small!. Eat carrots or a few crackers with cheese just so you are getting some calories into your system!.

In addition, talk to the counselor an explain to him your side of the story!. They are only talking to you because they care about you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
