Question: My boyfriend has told me that he has three small heart valve leakage how did this come about!?
What can we do to reduce the risk of it getting worse!. How does this affect him during intercourse due to heart accelaration!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's usually a congenital condition, but can also result from having rheumatic fever!.
There are some medications that his doctor may prescribe and will likely want to monitor things on a regular basis and may decide at some point that a valve replacement is necessary!.
His doctor needs to advise him about exercise and other types of exertion such as sex!.

This is definitely congenital!. In order to be able to give a sensible advice the answerer should have access to his file, which of course is not possible!. His attending physician (a cardiologist) shall determine how much the damage is!. (In other words how much blood leaks through and how much the lack of oxygenated blood affects his normal activity!.

He won't get worse from intercourse!. He might get light headed if his condition is bad enough, but it won't harm him!. If he had an internal defibrillator you might cause an electrical shock, that you would get to feel, but it won't harm him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some times it CAN be from fevors as child also abuse like drugs it can also be from other sicknesses and can be a birth proper medicines can help sometimes later in life they need to be replaced !. i have 3 valve leakages that was found at the age of 34 i am now 48 and it asnt got much worseWww@Answer-Health@Com
