Don't worry, it's an easy thing!. Just chilll!. You go in, change into a gown, and you'll lay on a table where the tube-like sphere wf you really get nervous, just ill move around your brain while you kick back and relax!. Just breathe, close your eyes, and think of good things, that when the results come in, believe , ask that you are already healed, say to the Lord above that you ask to be calm and that there will be nothing wrong be it his will!. There is no pain involved!.

Now, on the real, if you are hjust too anxious, tell your doc to give you something for anxiety!. That will certainly do the trick! Because sometime all the praying goes out the door and you just gotta do what you gotta do and take a relaxation pill (anti-anxiety pill like ativan or valium)!. You'll be good to go and feeling quite relaxed!. (This is only advice, I am no doctor but I've had an MRI)!.

Remember that there is a reason for this test and there are doctors that are used to help you!. Have your family pray and the power of prayer is awesome!. It's very powerful!. Usually, you will not be told any information as to the outcome of your test until it is interpreted by a specialist who looks at it!. Then, your doctor will follow up with you!. If it is dine "stat" meaning emergency, then you should know right away by your doctor!. The MRI technicians are only there to give you the test because if they give you the wrong interpretation, they could be in big trouble, although, I've had some nice techs who've said things like you're fine!. But, even if they do, don't rely on that, rely on your doctor!. If you aren't satisfied and are still experiencing problems, you may want to obtain a second opinion!.

I had an MRI - there's nothing to it!. Just try not to listen to the tech's dry jokes!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had MRI tests of various parts of me!.

No they don't hurt!. An MRI is short for magnetic resonance imagery!. If you've ever had an X-Ray, it's really similar, but they can "see" tissue that an X-Ray cannot!.

They are noisy, but you're usually given earplugs or music earphones!.

As far as an instant answer, no, your doctor will have to review the results to give you an answer, so you most likely won't get an immediate answer as to whether there 's a problem or not!.

Good luck, I hope all is well with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OH HONEY,I WOULDN'T LIE TO YOU IT DOESN'T HURT AT ALL!.ITS LIKE THEY PUT YOU IN A TUBE AND ITS REALLY LOUD,BUT IF YOU ASK THEY WILL GIVE YOU HEADPHONES!.
IF YOUR CLAUSTROPHOBIC YOU MIGHT GET A LITTLE NERVOUS,BUT JUST THINK YOU'LL ONLY BE IN THERE FOR 30 TO 45 MINUTES!.
AS FOR WHEN YOU FIND OUT WHATS WRONG,THEY'LL LET YOU KNOW AT YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT WITH THE DOCTOR WHO SENT YOU FOR IT!.
GOOD LUCK!.!.!.!.
I'VE BEEN FOR 3 AND THEY NEVER FOUND ANYTHING ,SOMETIMES THEY DO THEM TO RULE OUT POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR WHY YOU ARE ILL!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had an MRI of my brain!. There is absolutely no pain and I didn't think the noises were that bad, just a bit weird sounding!. Mostly it is boring laying there, so just day dream about something pleasant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it won't hurt at all!. Like the others said, they are loud (lots of thumping and other weird noises) but you might be given something to cover your ears!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they wont tell you until later, because they have to run tests on it, but sweetie the tech in charge of it should put you at ease!!
Hugz!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

no pain!.!.!. just noisy!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
