Strep throat question.?!

Question: Strep throat question!.!?
Last tuesday (9 days ago) my daughter had a bad sore throat, fatigue and vomiting!. She felt better the next day and returned to her normal activity level!. I thought nothing of it!. The following Sunday, I developed a sore throat!. Yesterday I went to the doctor and was swabbed and tested positive for strep!. I am being treated with antibiotics!.

I looked into her mouth and her tonsils do look swollen, but she is not symptomatic in any other way!. She says her throat does not hurt!. What is this!? Do people just "get over" strep on their own!? IS that safe!? Should I take her to the doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Take her to the doctor!. No, you normally do NOT just get over strep!. It will end up hiding itself, remaining dormant, then ends up keep coming back, many times causing worse conditions!. My sis-in-law had strep, and she ended up getting scarlet fever because she never had it taken care of!. The scarlet fever caused her to have heart murmur!. Just take your child in and get her on antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She should also be tested to determine which strep virus she had or you can ask your doctor if your form was one that needed to be teated by antibiotics to prevent future damage!. If left untreated, there is a serious form that can spread and infect other major organs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have 4 sons, and i was told that if they do not get the antibiotics to clear this that it could cause heart problems!. I would definetly check with her pediatrition or the local health department in your area!. Best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

take her to the doctor, strep will move throughout the body, when I was little my mom did not take me to the doctor and I went blind because of the virus moving from my tonsils to other parts of the bodyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the doctor!. If she had untreated strep, it could possibly develop into rheumatic fever, which can damage the heart's mitral valve!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
