Question: I got allergic rhinitis and it bothers me a lot during morning that i got to sneeze what to take!?
Answers:
See an allergist!. Many Ear Nose and Throat doctors also specialize in diagnosing and treating allergies, but some doctors who are not Otolaryngologists are also allergy specialists!.

The allergist can schedule you to have a skin test for possible allergens!. After they find out exactly what you are allergic to, you can get a shot every week to diminish your body's immune response to those things!. From what I've heard, it can take about 3 months to notice a difference, but it used to take a lot longer!. You get a shot every week for about 3 years and then you shouldn't be allergic any more!.

The alternative to shots is drops under tongue taken twice a day!. It's common in England, but this country is a little behind, and some insurances don't cover this and require the patient to get shots to have insurance cover it!.

Also, the allergist might tell you to do nasal rinses with a netty pot of warm (not hot) salt water!. This soothes the nasal passages and rinses out some of the allergens that you have inhaled!. It's very soothing!. You do that about 2-3 times a day!. It feels wonderful!. You can buy these at about any drug store!.

Also, there are nasal sprays that are antihistimines that work directly on your mucosa of your nose!. Along with the antihistamine nasal sprays, you can also get a Rx for a nasal steroid to decrease your allergic responses with all the mucous and itching, etc!. It will also shrink your swollen passages!.

Also, there are some books an Amazon!.com that explain more about sinusitus and allergies and treatments!. It might be worth your while to read a bit, or find a good website to learn more!.

Try these tips to help reduce discomfort and relieve the symptoms of nonallergic rhinitis:

Blow your nose!. Regularly and gently blow your nose if mucus or irritants are present!.
Humidify!. Set up a humidifier in your work or sleep location!. Or breathe in the steam from a warm shower to help loosen the mucus in your nose and clear your head of stuffiness!.
Stay hydrated!. Drink plenty of liquids, such as water, juice or noncaffeinated tea!. Avoid caffeinated beverages, which can cause dehydration and aggravate your symptoms!.
Try nasal wash (nasal lavage)!. Use an over-the-counter nasal saline spray or homemade saltwater solution to flush the nose of irritants and help thin the mucus in your nose!.
Use a decongestant!. Try an over-the-counter oral decongestant, preferably in liquid or pill form!. Nonprescription decongestant nasal drops or sprays (Afrin, Dristan, others) may also be helpful, but should not be used for more than three or four days, as they can be irritating and cause rebound stuffiness!. Decongestants can cause a stimulant effect and raise blood pressure for some peopleWww@Answer-Health@Com

spray your nose before you go outside!.Try Nasonex or Chromolin(also makes nasal spray +eye drops, in case you got itchy watery eyes)Www@Answer-Health@Com
