What to write in a "get well soon" card to someone dying with a termin!

Question: What to write in a "get well soon" card to someone dying with a terminal disease!?
A morbid question, I'm sorry - and don't give silly answers please, because obviously I'm very very cut up about it!.

I'm useless at wearing my heart on my sleeve, so this is tricky - I odn't want to pu55y foot around the subject but then I don't want it to look like I'm saying stuff like it;s the last time I'll ever see him, if you know what I mean - like saying I want to thank you for !.!.!. etc!. I do, there's a lot I want to say , like thanks for this and that, and I love you - which I've never said!.

But anyone got any idea of how I can write this!?

thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Gosh you poor thing - thats a really really hard thing to do!. I really feel for you!. Maybe you could start by saying thank you to the person for being a really good friend, and then write about some memories that you and they share, things that you've done etc and say what wonderful memories you'll always have - jeeze I don't know its so hard but I hope you find the perfect words!. Good luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might consider getting a 'thank you' card instead!.
Thank them for being your friend, for everything that they've meant to you and done with you, how sorry you are that this illness has overwhelmed them and that they're always in your thoughts!.
Sorry to hear you're in this sad position, but it's not a time to hold back - say what you feel!. It's painful and you'll cry, but we need to do these things when we lose someone we love!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all I would not get a card which said get well soon on it!.!.!.just get a card with nice calming scene on it and blank inside!.!.!.and then just put that they are in your thoughts and if you want just reminisce about things you did!.!.!.!.like do you remember when we!.!.!.etc and include a photo if you can!.!.!.!.!.
The person knows they are not getting better, but dont wish to be forgotten, and this would reassure them they wont be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well for one you don't buy them a get well soon card!?
Just buy them a normal card, and then talk to yourself as if you were talking to them and then write down what you would say!. Hopefully this should work for getting your feelings down!.
I'm also sorry for you and your ill relative!.
Best regards!. xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps you should write down everything you feel in a letter format first and then read it!. You may want to send it as is, or edit it, but I'm thinking your first draft will be just right!. Speak from the heart and say as much or as little as you want!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hope your feeling ok and not in too much pain
You know you have been my rock over the years and by best bud and i want to repay the favour to you, so when you need
me i'll be there !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best way you can do this is sit down, take your time and just write everything you want to/need to tell him!. Dont hold back!. You'll only get one chance to do it and you'll be glad you did!. You dont want to regret not doing it!. Also your friend might seek comfort in it, i think its a really good way to let him how you feel without breaking down!. You can write about how "remember when we!.!.!." etc and you have a laugh together over past memories if youre with him when he reads it!. Because lets face it, you both know he is going to die, as tracic and hard as it is, you cant really avoid "this could be the last time" Write anything and everything you feel you want to at the time!. You could just do it on paper and slip it inside a funny-to-cheer-you-up card!. I know its easier said than done, but getting feelings down on paper really does help!. Maybe you could photocopy some pics of good times you had together and put them inside so he can have them at his bedside!? My thoughts go out to you and your friend xxWww@Answer-Health@Com
