Answers:
--- I have not have a stone, knock on wood, but I have had an infection in one side twice!. They say its more painful than child birth because the nerve there goes right to the brain!. I can verify its a 15 on the pain 10 scale!
--- Often infections and stones in these glands are caused by dry mouth syndrome!. You need to drink lots more water and stay hydrated!. Find out whats drying you out!. I have a spine injury and I take pain medication that dries me out too much!.
--- My understanding is that if you have stone in these glands they have to either brake it up with ultra-sound waves or do surgery to remove it!. I am surprised you are able to take the pain!.!.
---Some times they can digitally go into the gland via your mouth with a probe and get a stone out or brake it up!. They run the probe up the little hole in your Mouth where the saliva comes out!.
--- Even if you don't have insurance they are still supposed to do the work on you!. You will have to pay it off later!. OR find a free clinic in your area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have a stone, and swelling is being caused, you will need surgery!. You should see an oral surgeon!. If the swelling goes away completely or is popable, it isn't a big deal!. If the swelling just keeps getting bigger/ doesn't completely go away, you probably need surgery to unblock it, which is really simple and easy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
