Ok I have a swollen lymph node under my jaw, in my neck!. Its not big when i feel it with my head in the normal position, but when i turn my head up and to the side it feels like a grape!. I had a cbc and it was normal and the doc said not to worry i had a viral infection and it will go away in some time!. And she said that if i had to turn my head then its ok because i shouldnt have to poke around for it!. If it was bad then it would be right there and noticable!. Why would it be bigger when i turn my head!? Is it not a lymph node!? Im just so worried that it is cancer, but then wouldnt my cbc have shown it!? There is really no pain with it either!. Thanks for the help!

YEP IT SOUNDS LIKE AN INFECTION!. THE ONLY REASON THAT IT APPERS LARGER IS THAT WHEN YOU TURN YOUR HEAD IT KINDA STRETCHES THE SKIN AND IT TIGHTENS IT AROUND YOUR NECK!. SO THE SWOLLEN LYMPH NODE PROTRUDES OUT!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
