I worked in a clinic, helping a doctor lance and remove cysts that were infected with MRSA!. You wouldn't normally have a small bump after this long!. Generally, I've seen MRSA on the backs of legs, shins, and elbows!. Those areas are dangerous because the wound starts out a spiderbite looking spot, and then within hours becomes a walled-off cyst!. They can become cellulitis!. You'd have a nasty, huge cyst by now!. One of his patients had two giant cysts on his rear end!. They had to be removed surgically, and then a wound vac system was put in place!. It took almost a year for it to heal!. It left a huge pocket of removed tissue!. If a cyst ruptures, then it gets into the blood stream!. From there, you could develop MRSA related pneumonia!. Are you running a fever!? Is there swelling!? After a week this sucker should be the size of a baseball!. You can get MRSA from hot tubs, locker rooms, schools, and the gym!. There is medication to treat it, and there are steps that doctors can take to help you if you have it!. It isn't the end of the world!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't freak out - I doubt if you just have a sore in your scalp it is MRSA!.

Use a good dandruff shampoo and it should clear up!. More people than you realize have this problem!.

Causes for bumps in the scalp:

Infection of the hair shafts (folliculitis)
An allergic skin reaction (contact dermatitis)!.
A skin condition, such as acne!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You get it from hospitals and from staph infections!. I think you might be over concerned but if you think it's a serious problem goto a doctor!.!.!.it also might be a pimple that was popped or a cut that scabbed and opened up too I've gotten them and they're annoying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
