Should I see any side effects from 25mg of Atenolol?!
Question: Should I see any side effects from 25mg of Atenolol!?
I've been taking 25mg of Atenolol once a day for about 3 weeks now!. I know 25mg is the lowest dose, but I have been very tired, and dizzy off and on!. I feel very detached every once and a while too!. Is this all caused by the medication!?

yes its a atenolol classic side effects!. i think you have started the high blood pressure begining therapy!. A couple of weeks after the side effects will decrease but
if these side effects are irresistible; you can advice to your doctor to change your medicine to one of them which are more cardio selective beta blockers (like propranolol ) or another group of like ACE inhibitors!.

I take the same amount and haven't had any problems!. Maybe your blood is too low, that could cause you to be tired or dizzy!. I take mine at the drug store for free, or you could buy a tester there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
