Question: Have you ever had this surgery!?
I am 15 years old, yet have horrible feet!.
I have bunyons on both my big toes and both my little toes!. My toes pop all the time!. In addition to that, I have the beginings of arthritis in both feet, a collapsed arch, and will develop hammer toes if I don't do something about it!.
When I went to the foot doctor (whatever you call them), they said that they would have to break all of my toes on both feet, and will likely be able to "rebuild" my arch!. It would require two surgeries (one for each foot) and I would be on crutches for 6 weeks with 8 weeks of therapy after each surgery!. That's 28 weeks!!!
Has anyone ever had this type of surgery!? How bad was the pain!? How old were you!? Was the problem fixed!? Do you regret it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter had similar surgery when she was 15 years old!. She chose to have both feet done at once and spent her time in a wheelchair!. It was pretty painful for her the first couple of days, but after that she did well!. She had the bunions on both feet and her big toes went under her other toes!. Her surgery wasn't quite as extensive as yours, but she does not regret it!. She can now wear sandals and shoes she couldn't before and is no longer ashamed of her "ugly" feet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
