well a pimple does have a lot of bacteria inside of it!. And neosporin is an anti bacterial agent!. So if the pimple pops then in theory neosporin might be a good thing to put on it!.
pimples are bad!. I'm pretty sure I have chronic acne!. For me a pimple has never lasted longer than a week!.
Heres what I do to prevent and/or manage my acne!.
I have oil all over me!. Its pretty thick on my face!. So I wash my face 2-3 times daily with the best substance for decreasing the oil on my face (personally): toothpaste!.
Toothpaste drys me up real good!. But sometimes my hands get dry because I use my hands when I wash my face!.
After I wash my face at night and before I go to bed I put on a substance that contains the active ingredient benzol peroxide on any area of my face that has a pimple!. It usually helps speed up the deterioration of the pimple!.
But thats the last defense!. Pop the pimple if possible!. And yes, topical antibiotics are a good idea when you do so!.
Some people dont believe popping pimples is healthy because you are opening skin!. That gaive a risk for infection and also in theory has the potential to leave a scar!.
