A complete lab test with the blood should show what you have, what your allergic to or, the meds that won't or, will help you!. The doctor should then prescribe these meds for you!.
If you infections persist you may be one of these people that have a "bad" tonsils that always seem to become infected!. You may want to speak to the doctor about having them removed, it's day surgery today!.
That might cure your problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sore throat is 90% bacterial infection on your tonsils!. the causative organism is usually a Staphylococcal species of bacteria!. one should also be careful of sore throat and treat it immediately because if it is recurrent (>10 in a year) there is a risk of having a rheumatic heart disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need a full course of antibiotics to clear your infection and take your medication as directed!. If you keep getting throat infections regularly then it might be worth getting the advice of an 'ear, nose, throat specialist' and see if you need your tonsils removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
