You don't say whether you are a virgin or not but I'm guessing since you didn't say you were that means you are sexually active!.

This could be all kinds of things, only one of which is some form of STD!. Yeast infections can cause discharge, redness and itching and they are not STDs and are relatively easily cured!. Allergic reactions and some skin disorders can also cause itching and redness!. Sure, there are STDs, like herpes, that can cause similar symptoms so it cannot be ruled out BUT its just one of many possibilities!.

If you are concerned about your fertility, the best thing to do is see the doctor!. Trust me, this is his/her job and they see these types of things everyday!. It would be very hard to surprise them or gross them out in some way so please do not worry about that!. If it is an infection, the sooner it is treated, the better the outcome so please see the doc ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest you go to your doctor or clinic to get tested!. It could be a STD if you were exposed to sex recently or it could be as simple as a Yeast infection which has very similar effects as the other STDS, but it just was caused by an overgrowth of yeast!.

It'll be best to go to the doctor first to let them diagnosed especially if you had never had this experience before!. BTW, yeast infections are curable and will go away with the proper treatment!. If it was a STD such as chlamydia or gonorrhea, those, too, will go away as long as it is treated!. If left untreated if it was STD, it can turn into infertility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a yeast infection!. You do not have to have any discharge with a yeast infection!.

It could also be an allergic reaction!. Have you changed laundry detergent recently!? Or used different pads during your period!? Some of the deodorant or scents or even the adhesive that is used in some of the pads can cause what you are describing!.

I wish you luck and good health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
