Asthma, pain when coughing?!

Question: Asthma, pain when coughing!?
I've been having sporadic coughing fits the past 3-4 days because of my asthma!. My cough is either wheezy, or a dry rattle in my chest!. I took my nebulizer yesterday because my chest kept feeling tight!. I'm on a few preventatives (Symbicort, Spiriva and Singulair) and have been taking them daily as well!.

However, my throat is all of a sudden really sore!.!.!.!. When I try to cough, it hurts A LOT! I don't even want to cough because it's so sore!.!.!. I looked at it and it's not red or anything!.!.!.

Is this pain common!? Is it due to the never-ending coughing!? Is there anything I can do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sorry your asthma's so severe!. Yes the sore throat is probably from a combination of all the coughing and the side effects of the meds!. If you don't stop coughing that much in a day or so, see the doc cuz you might need your meds adjusted - that has worked for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably a side effect from all the coughing!. You've probably just warn yourself raw!. If it persists of if you start getting phloem etc you may have gotten an infection!. Get some antibiotics from your doctor to clear that up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
