Hey Everyone,
This is my first time on this site and today something scarry happened!! especially me , everything is scary!! i was in the mall and i tried on a shoe, i felt something prick me , when i looked it was a thumbtack, it was probably there so that it wont slip off the display!! what are the chances i can catch hiv!?!? im so scared please answer me!!! should i be worried!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand your fear, but I am certain that you are okay! I am sure whatever that was on the thumbtack was DEAD!. It hit the air and the air killed it quick!.
I know how little things like this can affect a person's mood to think, but YOU truly should not even worry!. I am the one that should be worried because I was involved in a rape!. I am worried, you should not worry! But Good thinking and be very careful!.!.I would of took the shoe to the mall employee, aske for the manager, and tell them that they can be sued for carelessness accidents because of a thumbtack in a shoe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that is impossible!.!. you don't get HIV other than from having sexual intercourse with an HIV infected person!.!. or from sharing contaminated needles if you are a drug addict or if you hurt yourself with a contaminated needle by picking it up from the ground!.!. or in the past some people could get it through blood transfusions!.!. if you had an accident and needed a blood transfusion !.!. in the 1980's people got it that way but they have become a lot more careful when they give you blood now if you had an accident and need blood transfusions they make sure to check that blood and see if it is Hiv contaminated or not and would never give you contaminated blood!.!. you also can never get it from shaking hands wit an HIV positive person nor from his or her tears not from sweat either or a hug!. not even a kiss only if you should have an open wound in your mouth or on your mouth and the contaminated person would have the same!.!. an open wound of an infected person would have to touch the open wound of a non infected person to give the so far non infected person HIV!.!. you will no way get HIV from the falling Thumbtack!.!. even if somehow the tack came into contact with the blood of someone with HIV/AIDS the virus would have died lonnnng before it got to you!. HIV/AIDS is weak once outside the body it can only live outside the body!.!.max, maybe 2 minutes!. you're just fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
