Hi, I'm a clinical Pharmacist and saw your question!. If you came to my pharmacy, I would recomment you should see a doctor for a third degree burn, which is what this is!.

The doctor will give you a prescription for Silvadene cream!. This is specifically for bad burns, it sooths the pain and is also an antibiotic!. What cream are you using now!? I recommend Neosporin ointment as it is the strongest topical antibiotic found over-the-counter in the USA and I assume ur in the States!?

As far as scar therapy, some are used at the beginning of the treatment as a skin to help with tissue granulation, like Tegaderm, this is a prescription item also!. After the scab has healed up the underlying scar and dropped away, there are numerous over-the-counter remedies!. I recommend the more expensive silicon-based pads!. Clinical studies show these work best for minimizing surgical scars!.

Check with your doctor if these will do the trick for burn scars!. It's important to not use any scar reduction products until the wound is completely healed!. Nutritionally, make sure you have more than average RDA intake of Vitamins A,C,E and zinc!. These are the essential building blocks for the best and fastest skin tissue repair, (but dont ever-do it, too much of anything can also be toxic)!.

After at least a year, you may be a candidate for certain laser-therapy by cosmetic surgeons!. Certain types of laser therapy on the skin are designed to smooth over the scar tissue and color, which is composed of fibrous keratin, collagen and uneaven re-pigmentation!.

Best of Luck!

Sounds more like a 2nd degree but could be 3rd degree, either way you need to see a doctor!. After the wound has healed, you can use Vitamin E to help reduce the scarring!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should try vitamin A nd D ointment or buy aloe vera and put it in the fridge before applying it will feel hella good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
