Question: Should i be tested for diabetes!?
ok my mom had diabetes and she has to test her self with a meter!.!. well they last few days i have felt sick!.!. head ache dizzy!.!. so my mom tested me!.!. this is what was
5-16-08- tested 7pm!.!.!.!. 91
5-17-08- ate 4pm
5-17-08- tested 5:30pm!.!.!.!.!. 161
5-17-08- tested 7pm!.!.!.!.!.!. 94
5-17-08- ate 9:20pm
5-17-08- tested 10:30pm!.!. 156
5-18-08- tested 7am!.!.!.!.!. 71
5-18-08 tested 10:10am!.!.!.!.!.!.!. 81

but i thought i would ask before i had to take a sugar test or whatever for 4 hrs!.!. any ideas!.!. i am also 5'6 and 120 lbs!.!. if that help i know weight has something to do with it so i thought i would tell you all my weight!.!.

Don't play with diabetes !.You need to go to the doctor to be tested!. Before it to later!. Look out for your health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your numbers don't look that bad to me, that said I'm not a doctor and if you are truly concerned then a doctor would be the best person to ask!. The doctor can do a A1C test by taking a sample of your blood and have the results in a few days, this will give your blood glucose level over a 90 day period or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your blood sugar values indicate that you do not have diabetes mellitus!.
To diagnose diabetes mellitus you need to have;
a fasting plasma glucose level of more than 126mg/dl or a random glucose level of more than 200mg/dl!.
Since your blood sugar values are well below these levels you do not have diabetes mellitus at this moment in time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they all look fine to me but in saying you never said what type of diabetes your mom has and how long she has it this mite have a big bearing on it due to the fact diabetes runs in families what this means for you is your a higher risk group of getting then if it did not run in your family and to add to this point my aunt had diabetes and her 4 kids dont so even doe your in that high risk group it could still skip you but getting tested i know i would just to be on the safe sideWww@Answer-Health@Com

it is important for each person to take care of his/her body!. so you have to check you blood chemistry once in a while to make it sure that you have a chemical balance in your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'll be honest - I don't know the correlation between precise glucose readings and diabetes; however, I would highly recommend getting tested - if you even think that being diabetic is a possibility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
