Question: Okay i'm overweight!.!.should I see my GP about Diabetes!?

Don't jump to conclusions, however it is a good idea to keep your eye out for Diabetes, as your risk is increased due to being overweight!.

Overweight or not, it is a good idea to go in for a blood test every 6 to 8 months just to control the levels of the different elements, proteins, hormones etc!. in your blood!.

there are various things that make it more likely for you to suffer diabetes and overweight is just one of them!.
over 40, overweight and hereditary are just some of them!.
if you don't want to go to the doctors go to your local chemist they quiet often can do a test but obviously your GP is much better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just because your overweight does not meant you have diabetes but at risk of getting diabetes it no harm in getting checkout for it as you could have what is not call pre-diabetes which just mean your one step away from getting diabetes and may prevent yourself from getting diabetes with diet and so onWww@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone who is overweight should have regular check ups for not only diabetes but also for their blood pressure, cholesterol etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's no harm getting general blood tests done every year anyway as they will test for diabetes, iron, hormone levels etc etcWww@Answer-Health@Com
