No one can answer that for sure!.
Cosmetics manufacturers can't put known carcinogens in a product!.
But many components in commercial products are suspected of causing problems!. Which ones!? Depends whom you want to believe!.
But really, if a popular product like Herbal Essence had carcinogens, wouldn't you expect a lot of people to be getting scalp cancer!? I mean, isn't it most likely that the part of the body closest to the suspected carcinogen would get the cancer!?
I wouldn't worry too much about Herbal Essence, or anything in it!. I don't recommend drinking the product, but it's probably fine for washing your hair!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put the essence in a plastic bottle and it may end up that way!. The EU were persuaded by the USA not to ban over 300 plastic items because of the risk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
