Question: Blisters on vagina and pain when urinating, but not herpes!. What is it!?
A girl I know is having this issue!. At first the obvious thoughts were herpes!. The blisters were sensitive to the touch and it burned when she urinated!. They were gone from beginning to end in about a week!. But she just got her results back and they came back clean of all STDs!. So now they are trying to do further testing to figure out what it is!. In the meantime I wanted to see if I could dig something up for her so if anyone has any info it would be appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, if a swab test was done on her sores, if it wasn't within the first 48 hours it could yield a false negative because she gave them time to start healing!. And if this was a primary outbreak, a blood test will not have accurate results for another 2-3 months, because the type specific blood tests check for antibodies for the virus, and it takes time to build those up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She could be alergic to laundry soap or fabric softener or maybe she got something knew that had dye in it that irratated her!. It could be a number of things, she should think back about anything new that she has tried, like I mentioned above also, bath salts or bubbles!.
Has she been camping or gardening, it sounds strange but it could even be poison ivy,oak or sumac!. Stranger things have happened!.

Hope you guys figure it out soon, thats gotta su**Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds exactly like hepres, and just because a test was negative does not mean it isn't!. There is nothing else that causes those symptoms on the genitals!.

A swab test can come back negative, and blood tests normally give a false negative for the first few months after you catch the virus!. Even after the first few months, 15% of people positive for herpes will get a false negative on a herpes blood test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a std test done also and everything came back fine!. I pointed out to the doc!. that I had bumps and she said that I had genital warts!. So you might want to look into that!. Because I dont think it shows up on test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
