Could there ever be another plague?!

Question: Could there ever be another plague!?
Answers:
yes, as there are fleas in desert areas like Texas that could be carrying a plague!. Typical signs of the most common form of human plague is a swollen and very tender lymph gland, accompanied by pain!. The swollen gland is called a "bubo" (hence the term "bubonic plague")!. Bubonic plague should be suspected when a person develops a swollen gland, fever, chills, headache, and extreme exhaustion, and has a history of possible exposure to infected rodents, rabbits, or fleas!. Millions of people in Europe died from plague in the Middle Ages, when human homes and places of work were inhabited by flea-infested rats!. Today, modern antibiotics are effective against plague, but if an infected person is not treated promptly, the disease is likely to cause illness or death!.

Sure!.

But not like the black death pandemic because we know too much about it and how it is spread!. Back when bubonic plague swept regularly across europe from 1340s - 1700s they knew far less about disease transmission and they didn't realise that the disease was being transmitted from rats to humans via fleas!.

The animals that carry disease are known as vectors!. These days we know loads about vectors and how to control them!. We can prevent outbreaks of plague by destroying the vectors (either rats or fleas) that harbour and transmit it!.

Despite this plague is still endemic in some areas!. In 1994 there was an outbreak in Surat, India that killed 52 people and caused 300,000 scared residents to flee!.!.!. But it's a far cry from the 75 mllion that it killed in1340-1400!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. Easily, but not likely!. The plague is still around, but not much in the US!. Around 9/11 there was a small plague out-break in NY (a few people because it got contained quickly)!. Those people got it from a flea that got to them from a dog they got from Mexico (if i remember correctly)!. So yes!. It is quite possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There have been reports of people contracting the plague, although there hasn't been another mass outbreak of course!. Who knows though, it's always a possibility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think there could be!. It's happened before, why couldn't it happen again!?
And germs are always changing and evolving into different strains!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
