Bump on my chest?!

Question: Bump on my chest!?
I got a bump on my chest right under my neck, here are the pics
http://img216!.imageshack!.us/img216/4322/!.!.!.
http://img413!.imageshack!.us/img413/1533/!.!.!.
You might have to turn your heads to see them more accurately

It's been there for a long time !.!.!. (maybe my whole life) but i only noticed it for maybe 2 years or so because sometimes when i wear my shirt it sticks out (a line because of the bump !.!.!.)
I never told my doctor because i thought it was normal since it doesn't hurt or bother me and the doctor never said anything about it (i never mentioned it to him)

If you can see the bump then please tell me what it is and why I have it !.!.!. (my friends don't have it and neither do my parent's or brother)

I am 16 years old, and am male, no conditions in my life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There are many causes of bumps but your pictures look like a swelling or lump that is under the skin!. It doesnt appear to involve the skin itself!. It looks like the skin is not discolored!. You said that it has been there for awhile!. Based on the aforementioned information, it should represent a benign tumor called a lipoma!. Your doctor as seen many of these and can confirm it with a physical exam or possibly an MRI!. I do encourage you to show it to your doctor to confirm this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, this is probably just a benign cyst!. You really have to see a doctor though, because you can't just let this go unchecked!. I had something that looked like that taken out last summer and everything was just fine, except for a funky scar, not too bad really! So go see a doc already! And for your peace of mind go to wikipedia!.org and search for lipoma!.!.!. Good Luck, I'm sure you'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does the lump move or does it feel more like a thick part of your collar bone!? From the pics it looks like it is close or on your collar bone!. Perhaps you broke your collar bone when you were very young and it healed "funny"!. It wouldn't hurt to ask one of your parents or ask your doctor next time you have an appointment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
