Do swollen ankles mean water retention?!

Question: Do swollen ankles mean water retention!?
Answers:
Yes water retention, so it's best to stay off of the salt, processed foods and drinks especially any drinks with high sodium content !.

I suffer with water retention which was first thought to be caused by heart problems, however, this was ruled out though I do have HBP but the subsequent cause was put down to back problems and my disposition to week blood vessels in the legs!.

I find that by taking a fluid retention tablet along with my High Blood Pressure tablet and by walking at least 2 miles per day the fluid retention is kept in check!.

Please go and have a check up with the doctor!. He will check your heart, lungs and kidney functions and may send you for further tests!. Meantime drink plain water and no sugary or high sodium or caffeine based drinks!.
