Everyone's correct; they are the same thing!. If you think you are having heart problems, contact a cardiologist!. If you need heart surgery, contact a cardiac surgeon!. Your family doctor should be able to refer you to a specialist!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Doctors and Physicians are the same!. A doctor can evaluate you for a possible heart problem (he can order preliminary tests like an EKG, Echo-cardiogram, cardiac labs) and then refer you to a doctor who specializes in the heart called a cardiologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
