What kind of test do doctors run for...?!


Question: What kind of test do doctors run for!.!.!.!?
A patient is going to stay at a hospital for several days hooked to a machine; so the doctor will know if the seizures are electrical or chemical!.
What is this test called and what goes on during the test!?how long does the test last!? I searched google and found nothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is known as an EEG!. They put these cloth like electrodes to your head!. It usually lasts a whole night!. They do it with a sleep test as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's what I think you are talking about, it's an EEG (electroencephalogram)!. They basically hook wired to your head and a machine monitors the electricity in your brain!. They will compare what your brain does before, during and after the seizure!. It's not painful (well, taking the electrodes off is a little since they sometimes get stuck to your hair)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
