I had a sunburn like that one time -- back in the '70s when I was a teenager and everyone thought it was cool to lay in the sun with baby oil slathered all over our bodies! It was sort of like being a fish in a frying pan!.!.!.

Anyway!.!.!.

You are feeling nauseous because you are probably very dehydrated!. Drink plenty of fluids -- either Gatorade, water, ginger ale or any drink that does not contain caffeine!. Do not force yourself to eat unless you feel hungry!. The chills are your body's reaction to the burn and it should go away in a day or so, once your skin has cooled down!. If you are still feeling this way tomorrow night, it might be time to seek medical attention!.

Your sunburn will go through several stages!. First is the one that you're in now!. The important thing is to cool your skin and the blisters down!. You can try using rubbing alcohol -- that should work!. I've also found that Noxema Cold Cream works really well, too!.

However, the best thing to use is aloe vera!. It's made specifically for burns!.

Once your blisters start to pop they will start itching really bad!. DO NOT itch them -- keep the drying skin lubricated with medicated cream or more aloe vera!.

MOST IMPORTANT IS DO NOT POP THE BLISTERS YOURSELF!!!! This could cause infection!. Let nature take it's course and let them pop on their own!.

The last stage is once all the blisters have healed!. You will be left with very red skin and it will be very sensative!. DO NOT go out in the sun without any sunscreen at this point!. Your new skin needs time to heal!.

Overall, it will probably take a week to 10 days for everything to pop and heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should put Aloe Vera on wherever your skin has burned!. Putting it on before bed would probably be the best time because your skin gets more time to heal and you're not exposed to the sun!. Keep putting it on until your burn goes away (It shouldn't take that long)!. If you don't have any Aloe Vera, you should probably get some!. I would cover up those burnt areas until you get some Aloe Vera (If you don't have any)!. Aloe Vera usually comes in a green bottle!.

P!.S!. You're right about the sun being harmful even when It's cloudy!. Most people don't know about that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT BURST THE BLISTERS!!! they could scab and leave scars!. your best bet is to get some aloe vera (as in the plant) and peel the skin off the plant!. rub it all over the sun burn!. its sticky and gooey, but oh so soothing!!! you could even look in a pharmacy for some aloe vera oil, dilute it and rub that onto your skin!.

what also helps is a cool shower in the hottest part of the day!. DO NOT RUB YOUR BODY!.!.!.pat it dry!

drink lots of water to help hydrate your skin and your body and i hope you get better, sunburn's a pain in the backside!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest alternating between using aloe lotion and white vinegar!. I sunburned the back of my legs so bad I couldn't walk once, and I was sick and had the chills, and using the combination of the two made it a lot more bearable!.

If you don't get better soon, I would say get it checked out!. Or if you have good health insurance, it can't hurt to just see a doctor right away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could go to the doctor!. I would say that you probably don't have sun poisoning, but if you are still sick to your stomach and feel really hot, like body temperature wise then definitely go see a doctor!. Try Aloe Vera lotion, or if you have an aloe plant break off a stalk and put the goo on yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have a severe sunburn!. Which means you probably have second degree burns!. You really need to go to the doctor and get a prescription!. I have used Noxzema!. I smear it all over the burn!.!.!.leaving it caked on for awhile just to cool down!.!.!.but not for a sunburn that you are describing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

!.!.!.the pharmacy has Aloe products that will help!.!.!. "If" the burn is as severe as you indicate!.!.!. you might need Silvadene cream (which is generally avail by Rx only)!.!.!. ask the pharmacist or the doctor!. For now!.!.!."cool" (moist)compresses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

okay try aloe vera its great for burns of any sort
but do not smother it in creams lotions all they do is cook you
for the pain go for aspro type pain relief then increase the strenth as a quick solution dont take too many of anythingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Motrin to knock you out and Aloe Vera and good movies and favorite food!. Also someone to rub it on your back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get some noxema and put it in the fridge it will cool it down, keep it moisturized and will altogether soothe it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ice it! Aloe Vera is good too!. Go to a pharmacy and find some After Sun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would check with a doctor if i were youWww@Answer-Health@Com
