Answers:
Lots of rest, Gatorade to keep electrolytes in check, close your curtains and maintain a quiet environment!.

Keep your diet bland such as the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast), some plain egg noodles or noodle soup!.

If you have a humidifier use it to keep the air moist!.

Hot tea is yummy and may help make you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a cold right now too!. I had an awful fever last night but I got rid of it with alot of sleep and sleeping under a ton of blankets!. I've been drinking hot tea and my husband made me an awful whisky and honey concoction that really cleared my nose up for a while!. I'm still stuffed this morning but I do admit I took a Benadryl to dry it up!.!.!.my nose is runny and i'm so sick of it!

Chicken noodle soup is good for you too!. It really does have healing properties!. And drink Gatoraide for the electrolytes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably feel like throwing up from post nasal drip!. Drink plenty of fluids, especially orange juice, Gatorade, water (I'm assuming you aren't a diabetic, mind you!.) Get a humidifier to use while sleeping!. Get some vitamin C tablets and take them as well!. Wash your hands frequently, this helps combat you spreading it and keeping your own "germs" in check!. If you have a fever over 101, swollen glands, yellow/green mucus, "rattles" when you cough, cough up colored mucus or can't swallow liquids due to sore throat you have an infection and have to get antibiotics!. If you catch it early you can stop it from progressing!. Get plenty of rest!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Give your immune system the support it needs during this time by eating healthier, especially fruits high in vitamin C!. And, although rest is important, if you're up to it, some light excersise is good too!. Wash your hands more often too so your body will have to deal with less germs it comes in contact with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
