Why don't unsanitary people get as many colds and flu as clean people?!

Question: Why don't unsanitary people get as many colds and flu as clean people!?
My Mother in Law is a filthy Pig, bathes once every two weeks and rarely ever washes her hands!. She prepares her food like this too and is never down with anything!. Everytime we visit her, we leave with a stomache virus!. We never eat any of her meals either!. Are they Toxic!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Because you need some germs in your body to be able to fight other ones off!. That's why when you're a kid, you get immunizations!. You have to build up immunity to things and if your mother in law is living like a pig then she's probably not going to pick up the germs like you would when you visit!.

Yes the germs are toxic!. Quit being nice and tell her you don't want to die from her filthiness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's an interesting question!. I'm glad you asked this one!. Numerous studies have also shown that an excessively clean lifestyle is not the best for the immune system, as your body doesn't have a chance to get exposed to the many viruses that are out there!. When you're exposed to viruses on a regular basis, depending on how healthily you eat, exercise, sleep, etc!., you're less likely to get sick!. This is because your system makes antibodies that build immunity against these viruses!. I, myself, very rarely get colds and flus (the flu I had back in March was my first case of influenza in more than 15 years)!. I have also been known to not wash my hands often enough, and my household over the many years has not been up to specks!. You would think that it would have made me very sick numerous times, but in fact, the opposite has been the case!. Personally, I don't know what your diet / lifestyle is like, but there are definitely many arguments out there on the subject of cleanliness!.

To conclude, I think that some cleanliness is a good thing, as it makes your home more appealing, but I also think our bodies are designed to build immunity to viruses!. Healthy people can build immunity without necessarily getting sick!. If I were you, I would talk to your mother in law about this subject and see what she has to say about all this!. Also, contact your local health unit about this as well!. It has produced a lot of food for thought for me, so, I, too, will be researching this as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

People can build up resistances to germs!.!.!. it is very natural!. For example, if you visit a foreign country, you might get sick just from drinking their water, but the locals don't!. That is because the locals have been drinking that water, with all its little inhabitants (don't worry, all water has stuff in it) and their bodies have adapted to it!.
Take some airborn the next time you go!.!.!. and wash your hands a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree that your MIL may have built up a resistance due to constant exposure!. Next time you visit, offer to give her a break and prepare all food yourselves!. Wash dishes, etc!. before using them!. Wash your hands frequently when visiting her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
