Ringworm disappeared then came back?!

Question: Ringworm disappeared then came back!?
I have a small ringworm patch on my knee, about 1!.5cm in diameter!. I treated it with a cream from the pharmacist and it faded to almost nothing!. I continued to treat it, then it started to come back again!. I'd like to know how to get rid of it properly!. Please no Googled answers, only people who have actually had it - how did you get rid of it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello,

(ANS) Ringworm infections are one of those things that can be very persistent to get rid of from my own experience!. YES! you can buy topical creams or treatments over the counter from a chemist but most of these only work for short time and wont deal with any other underlying pathology that might be causing the problem!.

My advise is go to your GP, he or she will probably prescribe another treatment!. In my case he prescribed an antibiotic which I took for 2 months after which the skin cleared up and the itchy raw patches disappeared and I have been clear ever since!.

**My treatment was with Terbinafine!.

From personal experience i can tell you if you didn't use the cream appropriately, the ringworm would most likely reappear!. If this isn't the case and you followed through with the cream appropriately, then consult a general practitioner; he/she can prescribe some antibiotics that will definitely relieve you of your symptoms and get rid of that ringworm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to the doctor and they will give you this cream it may cost so try to get a sample if you can BUT it works and the ringworm doesnt return!. My cat had ringworm and spread it to everyone in the family and it was a rough time but when we got the medicine from the doctor it disappeared!. Remeber ringworm is very contagious!Www@Answer-Health@Com
