First of all, it is not a stupid idea sweetie :) I know you love the girl!. The greatest way to express this love is to protect both of your futures!. Using a condom does not mean that you dont love your partner, or that you don't trust your partner!. And this is something that couples should talk about so that you have a common understanding!. I love my boyfriend so so much!. I use condoms with him all the time- because I love him!

Remember, dear, that through unprotected sex both you and your partner are exposed to different viruses and bacteria!. Use a condom, for your benefit, for you partner's benefit!.

With all the things that are happening in our world, my mother to this date, still drills in our heads that it only takes one chance of unprotected sex to get a virus or to get pregnant!.!.!.!.just one chance!. So when you ask what's the rate- I can tell you- very high!. Though it is easier for a woman to contract diseases/infections than a man, it's still only takes one time of unprotected sex to be exposed to any sickness ok!.

Bear in mind, as well, that STDs and infections are not transmitted solely through genital contact---oral-to-genital contact actually increases the risk of contracting "something"!. So Oral sex is not safe sex either!. Kissing is fine, though, because saliva does not contain sufficient amounts of any bacteria to cause infection- so I'm just focusing on genital to mouth contact ok!.

To branch off a bit- Choose your type of condom wisely!. Their are many varieties available!. Choose one that is comfortable for you and your partner, and use it well!. You can even choose one that increases pleasure----some people complain that condoms take away from the pleasure of the act: not using a condom can take away your life!.

It's good that you're thinking about these things instead of just jumping in to the water!. Thumbs up to you!. Best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all I would like to say that I think its great you are aware of what can happen without using protection!. I think that you should use condoms because you want to protect yourself!. It is not stupid by any means and more people need to think like you!. Maybe you two could go get tested together for STD's and then you would be more comfortable!. I think though you should still use condoms!. You also have to be aware of pregnancy and if you choose to not use condoms you need to have an alternative form of birth control!. If you have unprotected sex and your partner has one you are exposed to it and can contract whatever they have!. Its always best to do routine checks to check for STD's!. Make it a date and go together!. But I would still use condoms!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you should use condoms with your partner!. Also STI's can be passed through oral also!. It's not a stupid idea it's a good thing you have realised this and aware of the problems these infections can cause!. If you don't use them you are at risk but it depends how many partners she has had before and whether she has used protection before!. We can't give you a rate unless we know more about her!. Always get checked for STI's when you meet a new partner an are sexually active together!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, you are being very sensible, doesnt happen with a lot of young men these days,i think you should use condoms as you feel that you should, you obviously have a lot of love and respect for your girlfriend, its not a stupid idea,Www@Answer-Health@Com
