Does a TBI last forever?!

Question: Does a TBI last forever!?
I guess the proper word would be diagnosed!.!.!. so I got diagnosed with a TBI, traumatic brain injry on October 21st, 2006!. (horribe car wreck) I've had many doctors, bone doctors, neurologists, everything!. I've had TB scans, (which I don't know what that is) full body scans, everything!. My doctors have all told me the same thing, that I have a traumatic brain injury!. But they never told me if it lasts forever!
They said I'd feel the effects of it for a really long time, but it's been almost two years, and I'm still feeling the problems from it very greatly! I really don't want to travel back to my doctors, so I'm asking here!. They told me I would have sleep problems (which I sleep durring the day and awake at night a lot of the times, and I sleep for 10 - 11 hours a day / night) They said I'd have memory problems, which most of the time I can't remember if I ate or not, so I have to write a lot of stuff down on paper!.
I just want to know if I'll ever be the same I was before my wreck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This far out, I'd guess you'll always be this way!. At first the areas of brain damage were surrounded by some swelling that would clear and the damaged spots would get smaller!. When the "smoke clears" however, the damaged spots can never recover!. Then you move into a time of relearning when your brain tries different areas to get the tasks done, sort of like a detour around the damaged area!. Once your brain has gotten rid of the swelling and done its best to reroute around bad areas, the healing is done and you're left that way!. Its been long ago for you though, and this is all pretty much completed within a year!. The only thing you might try is some antioxidants since the blood that stained those small areas of brain now contains alot of iron which is a powerful "oxidant" and is thought to cause a lot of the normal aging of brains!. Since it's nutritional supplement stuff, you'd be hard pressed to get a doc to swear to it, but it's been written about extensively!. Google "iron and brain aging" if you want to read more and also look at Green Tea as an antioxidant especially for iron in the brain!. Watch the actual contents of the bottle you're gonna buy!. The cadillac of Green tea is probably Jarrow!.com's Green Tea 500mg!. The 30% catechins are the main ingredient, so compare whatever you're gonna buy to that!. I take theirs but any one is good as long as you get the most active ingredient for your dollar!. If you take any medicines, tell your doctor if you're gonna start taking green tea in case there is some interaction between them!.
Don't expect a cure, the damage has been done!. The suggestion of the tea would only limit future damage that might be done by the iron deposited in the damaged areas to nearby brain cells!.

I think Melatonin has helped people with their sleep cycles, but I sleep great so I've never looked into this!.

Good luck and I just said a prayer for you!.

And keep reading about it and asking about it!. You never know what'll turn up someday!.
!.!.!.the military is going crazy with money to study this, cause of all the soldiers coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
