Breast cancer and chemotherapy?!

Question: Breast cancer and chemotherapy!?
if a patient has mastectomy of the LEFT breast, is it true that it's preferable to administer chemotherapy from the RIGHT hand!?

if so, why!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, it is correct!. When a mastectomy is done the lymph nodes are also removed from the underarm area and the chest!. This means that the person is more prone to excessive swelling in that arm when any injury occurs!.!.!. including having an IV or having blood drawn!.

Hence, it is preferable to do the IV chemotherapy or any other treatments on the other side!.

I had a lumpectomy and later a mastecomy on the right side and must now have all IVs, blood draws, etc, on the left!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What ever side had the mastectomy is instantly put on lymphedema precautions due to the fact there was that surgery!.!.!. no Blood Pressure, no IV's no Labs drawn on that side of her body ever!.!.!. its to protect her more than anythingWww@Answer-Health@Com

My mom had this done and that is correct!. They had to remove lymph nodes and quite a bit of tissue from under her left arm!.

Now they can't even check her blood pressure on her left arm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
