Acidic pain in stomach...please help!?!
Question: Acidic pain in stomach!.!.!.please help!!?
I have an appointment with my doctor soon, but I am very nervous as to what the actual ailment I have is!. On my left side of the upper abdomen I can feel a constant acidic burning followed by occasional stabs of pain, especially if I eat anything at all!. Also, I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me because I located the exact area of pain, but it feels like there is a movable obstruction in the area of pain!. I have had this trouble before and I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound, however nothing was found to be wrong; and then the pain went away!. However it is back again now and I'm very worried about what it could be!. I thought it sounded like an ulcer, but I don't know too much about these things!. =/

You're right in going back to the doctor!. Only take a doctor's advice on what to take for this!
You probably need a scope (look inside) of your stomach done (can't think of what they're called) to determine what is causing it!. It could be something very simple!. Ulcers are very easy to treat but must be diagnosed!.
Don't give too much credibility to your "diagnosis" of what/where it is coming from!. Pain can sometimes be referred to other areas!. DO tell the doctor where you feel it most though!.
Keep a record of what you're eating, when, and how it affects you until you go to the doctor!. This will help a lot!.
Most of all, try to relax and not worry about it so much!. Just eat carefully until your appointment and have your list of questions ready for the doctor!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
