Answers:
You guys need an MRI and need an MRA (to look at the brain (MRI) and the blood vessels (MRA) (the CT scan was a waste of your time and only done to make the ER doc or Pediatrician feel like they had done something for you and to make it look good for the jury if you ever sue them)!. The sudden headache is helpful to figure it out as brain tumors almost NEVER hurt that way!. An aneurysm (focal ballooning of the wall of an artery) of a blood vessel near the back of the eye/along one of the nerves controlling the eye muscles that had a partial rupture would do this!. A migraine headache shouldn't do it, but some er doc or neurologist will have to rule out a small bleed!. I wouldn't be surprised if your son eventually gets a spinal tap to look for signs of blood as well!. I wouldn't wait for the results to the CT scan!. Call the doc and tell them you want an MRI/MRA today if they aren't gonna send you either to a neurologist today or do the spinal tap themselves today!. If it's an aneurysm and it did have a small bleed, it's called a "sentinel bleed" and a quarter or more patients that have a big bleed have had a small sentinel bleed in the days before a larger rupture!. Don't give him aspirin or motrin until this gets explained!. My mother took aspirin and her sentinel bleed opened up big time three days later!. Don't wait on this!. The MRI/MRA is easy and doesn't need a contrast injection!.!.!.even for the blood vessel study (MRA) part!. It can take as little as 35 minutes and not so many 15 year olds have a pacemaker or cochlear implant (the two big reasons you can't go into an MRI machine!.) If it were my son, I'd do the MRI/MRA first and decide if I wanted him to have a spinal tap after!.
Good luck and I just prayed for your family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whoa! So many doomy gloomy answers!. I think the time to worry is AFTER the diagnosis!. But if as you said he came home with one of his eyes CROSSED then he possibly has had an injury, something came detatched in his eye!. It could be serious, or not so serious!. and no amount of wishing is going to make it better!. You did right by getting him medical help, now it's up to the doctors and God!.
Keep a prayer in your heart and I will too, for your son!. God bless him!.
