Question: What is the difference between an optometrist and an ophthalmologist!?
Answers:
An ophthalmologist is an honest to goodness doctor, who went to medical school, and got an MD, plus they got extra specialized training in ophthalmology!. They can prescribe medicine, do surgery, anything a regular doctor can do!.

An optometrist went to optometry school, and can ask you "one, or two, one, or two" and that's about it!. They can only prescribe glasses and contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
